Description
Robbert Orano started White Pony. He is a home brewer with Belgian roots. He has a great preference for craft beer and heavier Belgian beers. The White Pony brewery makes beer in an artisanal way, unpasteurized and unfiltered. And bottles the beer with respect for the old tradition. But all this is done with an innovative view of the brewing process.

Murky dark amber colour, beige foam. Sweet, herbal, notes of toffee, spices. A bit messy and too sweet.

Winter beer tasting #6, advent calendar #22. This tastes like pure strawberry Twizzlers from aroma to finish. No complexity, no balance, no beer flavor. Hard to finish this small bottle with two people, even. 13.6% for some reason.

Advent #18. Smooth. Name seems appropriate for watching Leon the Professional, one of my faves.

Advent #16. Not meant to be a saison but this is pretty farmy. Tamarind is a pretty interesting fruit. Jammy.

Advent #9. Originally a play on words, "strongest than ever", apparently it's been linguistically censored 😆 Young, just several months old, but lots of flavor. Spirity, but doesn't taste like 15%. Would be great in a port or sherry barrel.

Advent #5. Clearly wet brandy barrels - huge notes of Brandy, subtle on the apple part but it's there. Boozy.
