Heretic Brewing Company
Microbrewery
in Fairfield,
California,
United States 🇺🇸
Associated Venue: Heretic Brewing Company
Established in 2011
We started by sharing a building with another brewery in 2011, but we always brewed our beer ourselves. Within the first six months we realized there wasn’t enough space for two breweries in one building, so we began the search for a new place. By 2013, we had built a new, modern brewery in the wonderful city of Fairfield, California and moved all our operations there, including our new distillery.

Pours hazy light gold. Smells mostly of citrus hops. The flavor is a straightforward, citrusy lightly resinous hazy with mild bitterness. I found it okay but underwhelming.

US Pint can at Kura’s Krafts, Kuala Lumpur. Poured an unclear light reddish purple colour with a short-lived fizzy white head and lots of clingy bubbles. The aroma is big blueberries. The flavour is moderate sour, light sweet, with a fresh, crisp, tart juicy blueberry, light herbal, light vanilla palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation. Perfect after a long walk to the bar!

Bottle at home. Aroma of nuts, chocolate, roasted dark malt, some coffee. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate roasty bitter finish. Body is medium, a bit lighter than I expected. Nice easy drink, delivers on the nuts & chocolate promise.
