message to the admin, who converted my rating to private: hey guy, could you please provide some kind of explanation, as well? my rating properly described the 'beer' and it was added to the database as rate-able beer.

Bottle from Gretna Green Food Hall. Copper-brown with a beige head. Boozy raisins followed by a cheap woodiness (think creosoted garden fence rather than vintage oak barrels). Finishes with dirt - not pleasant earthy hops, just plain filth - and an unpleasant slightly sour bitterness. Gets worse with each sip, and I kept having to reduce my score. Not the sophisticated beer the label claims - instead it's a bit of a filthy alcoholic mess, with the aroma being the only redeeming feature.
