Strange one this, pours a nice light gold with a frothy white head, not much of an aroma, maybe a little sweetness - but the flavour is a surprise, alongside the classic sweet, biscuit malt you'd expect from a lager, there's more than a hint of smoke, which is initially disconcerting but becomes pleasant by the finish.

Deep ruby brown with a foamy off-white head, there's a hint of toffee on the nose and the flavour is a nice sweet fruit and nut affair, with some delicately bitter hop character alongside. Has a smooth mouthfeel and a relatively sweet finish.

Bit strange this one, aroma is peculiar, difficult to pinpoint exactly but it pours a nice golden colour with a neat foamy head. Has a malt backbone with some bitterness and zest, but its acidic mouthfeel is a little unnerving

Bottle. Nose is cola, fruity, dark fruit, toffee, apples, fig rolls. Taste is malt, slight pepper, medicinal bitterness, woody, vodka. Hands down the worst Barley Wine I've ever drunk, it tastes like a home brew attempt.
