Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of fruit - leaing on being over ripe, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, over ripe fruits, and alcohol, leadng to a dry finish.

750ml swingtop - opens with a loud pop, followed by a geyser of foam - however, the beer only pours with a compact, soapy head - lightly hazy copper - highly estery nose, with some honey, toasted grains, biscuity malts, mild tartness, dusty/earthy character, slight buttery character - lively carbonation in the mouth - a bit tart up front - this soon gives way to a clean sweetness, honey - the sweetness sticks around, but quickly becomes subordinate to crisp, crackery flavors, slightly peppery hops, a touch of spicy alcohol - some esters, melon rind - tartness comes back near the end, as well as a hint of acidity - warming finish - subtle and tasty.

Huge white coarseish head. Faintly hazy yellow body. Earthy floral peas aroma with fruity milky Belgian yeast notes. Very harmonic. Dry-sweetish lemony earthy floral pea taste with milky soapy honey notes. Mid-bodied. Mild mouthfeel. Dry floral metallic earthy milky aftertaste with pea notes. Nice, balanced, easy to drink. (0.75l bottle, wine monopoly. This is a merge of two separate ratings.)

750ml swingtop bottle - hazy light copper, with a foamy, well-retained head - the aroma hits with a little lemony tartness and dustiness at first, but this quickly makes way for honey, toasted grains, yeasty/doughy character, and background earthy/sweaty qualities - the carbonation is full and lively, yet creamy at the same time - honey sweet up front, but this fades fast, leaving only a mild sweetness, as gentle windflower and buttered toast appear through the middle - peppery/spicy flavor and mild bitterness arrive late - moderate minerals and herbs in the finish - a very soft earthy/hay flavor way in the back (I wish it were a little more prominent - my only complaint) - quite subtle and tasty

Bottle at LCRBM5. Picked up in Carrefour in Calais. Hazy gold, thin white head. Quite strong in alcohol, but quite good on the hops. Decent bite. It’s got some orangey citrus sting. Aroma isn’t great but the rest is fine. Pretty good and very dry on finish.
