Bière 33 cl bue chez Tzitziki à Armeni, crête. Robe noire opaque. Nez rôti. Bouche très rôtie et peu sucrée, amertume du malt grillé, brûlé, beaucoup de caractère, très réussie.

Bottle, had this at Camping Semeli Campsite, Astrous, Leonidiou, 4km from Leonidio, Peloponnese, Greece, Tuesday 31st August 2021. Got this at the My Market Supermarket, Nafplio. Pours orange, copper colour with a white sticky head. Initially a little sweet, some honey a very subtle bitterness, dry finish. Soft moutheel, really not bad at all.

Bottle, Ermou Spirits, Athens. Somewhat hazy orange golden, medium white head, not so lasting. Gently sweet peachy nose, slightly citrusy. Sweet fruity start, peach. Milder bitterness, peppery finish. Lasting, gentler aftertaste. Lighter body.

Bottle from Fin, thanks from one smoke beer lover to another! Drunk after a Greek style veal kebab and while eating a Vanilla Krapfen. Leaping to get out of the bottle, darkest brown with a big frothy tan head. Very smoky and dark-roast-toasty in the nose. Flavor is bold, lots of carb carries the smooth smoke flavor right where it belongs. More on the dry side, refreshing after the pastry and hazy fads. Carbonation might even be a bit too much for a Porter, I'll give it a swirl. Big hearty mouthfeel like a savory Texas chili! Great stuff from Greece.

At home Sunday 27th September 2020 picked up from Sifanto, Sifnos, Greece . Had this after a short walk of 6km near Eching, Nr Landshut, we are sat outside back home, it was glorious sun but now sun starting to drop. Listening to The Murder Capital - When I Have Fears just eaten a wonderful lamb kebab. Pours dark brown with a light beige head, chocolate and a little smokiness, soft mouthfeel, a little tangy. This is very good.

Bottle very kindly passed onto me by Kostas at Kykao Microbrewery, Patras, Greece consumed at Kalianna Apartments, Lefkada Town, Lefkada, Greece, Tuesday 15th September 2020 listening to the new album by the Throwing Muses - Sun Racket. Cooking Moussaka. Pours hazy mid gold with a slim white head. Soft in the mouth subtle aroma, a touch of honey. A little fruity and with some caramel, bitterness is low but noticeable. Good beer.

Cooking Moussaka. Pours hazy orange with hardly much of a head to speak of, dusty light resinous nose, soft mouthfeel. Taste is dusty as well the refreshing flavours of a typical wheat appear to have been totally undermined by the addition of the mastic. Ok.

Bottle picked up from a supermarket in Kamares, Greece and consumed at Makis Camping, Kamares, Sifnos, Greece after an 18.8km walk coast to coast in Sifnos, from Makis Camping, Kamares to Kastro and back. Pours amber with a white head. Soft mouthfeel, smoke on the nose and in the mouth, this is very nice, really good, slight meatiness to it. Like it.
