Description
Stadsbrouwerij & Brasserie 'T Pakhuis is one of those home breweries where beer is still brewed in the authentic way, that is to say with purely natural raw materials, without filtration and without pasteurization. The tempered, never exaggerated but balanced use of various raw materials is one of the brewer's most important capacities.

20/I/23 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ Wim’s place, BB: 25/IV/22, bottled: 24/IV/20 (2023-85) An early pandemic beer as it seems.

Clear dark purple red beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: fruity, sweet impression, bubble gum, artificial fruit flavourings. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit sourish, watery, berries, soft acidity, a little bitter, not too bad, somewhat watery though. Aftertaste: a bit sourish, funky touch, berries, ok, was expecting way worse from the smell.

Bottle. Amber with lots of sediment and a dense cream head. 3- Aroma of honeyed dough, apricot, marzipan, spices. Full bodied. Tastes much as it smells. Some alcohol; bitter and maybe a little dully spicy at the end. Not a refined tripel but has some character.
