Description
Former name until 2006: "Privatbrauerei Josef Sigl".
The Trumer private brewery, formerly the Josef Sigl private brewery, is located in Obertrum am See near Salzburg and was founded in 1601. In 2006 the name was changed to the current company name. The Trumer private brewery is an eighth generation family business. Beer has been brewed in Obertrum am See since 1601. The brewery has been owned by the Sigl family since 1775 and is currently managed by the eighth generation of Josef C. Sigl.
The brewery uses a tight and - probably - unique and (partly) certified brewing process with 100% natural hops, an open fermentation in open yeast vats and a process of slow brewing (they take the time to let the beer mature).

bottle from Interspar Eisenstadt. Pale yellow, slightly hazy, with a tall and stable white head. Lovely hopps nose. Light-bodied, shy malty base, strong enough to suport fragrant and perfumy hops that add fruity flavours (lime, a lot) and a pleasant piney bitterness. Light and refreshing. Incredibly good for a low alcohol beer.

Bottle picked up from Bierkiste, München und consumed at home Wednesday 12th January 2022 listening to Marc Riley on 6 Music. Pours clear yellow/gold with a slight haze and a creamy textured white head. Bready nose, a hint of lemon, in mouth more of the same with moderate, actually light sweetness, hops are there but subtle, nice moutheel, touch of plain Rich Tea brand biscuit. Pretty good.

Bottle from Austria - many thanks, Hanne! Clear golden, stable, foamy, white head. Aroma of yeast, (wet) grain, cow fodder, oxidized apple, grass. Taste has sweetish grain, cow fodder, bitter yeasty note; some grassy hops in the finish, mostly yeasty, grainy, yet crisp. Light body, slick texture, average carbonation. Could have been decent but I'm afraid it was already past its prime.

Flasch'n (Dank am See! ): Pale greenish-golden, hazy, creamy and stable bleached head, distinctive aromas of citrus and exotic fruits in the moderate bitter-sweet aroma, delicate traces of pale malt underneath; light bodied (not watery at all!) and a bit fizzy, moderate and quite dry bitter and mildly sweet flavour; lingering dry lemony-hoppy finish, some desperate aromas of pale malt in the aftertaste. Nice, nice, nice...
