Can: Caramel and grapefruit peel nose, wood on the edges. Clear amber, firm medium yellow head, nice lacing. Caramel, pecan, grapefruit. Grapefruit peel in the end. Medium body, soft carbonation. Superb balance and complexity, well rounded, nice example of the mythical East Coast IPA.

Sample at Daily Growler UA. Pours a clear amber-gold color with a medium thin off-white head that burns away steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with a slight mineral character and flavors of grassy hops, citrus and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with an herbal hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Red with. Light tan head. Rye, pine, citrus, light sweetness. Medium bodied. Flavor has enjoyable rye spice, pine notes, grapefruit. Medium dry finish. Nice amount of rye kicks this APA up a notch. I’d stock the fridge with this.

Pours light hazy orange. Light hop resin and faint malt notes. A decent pale ale but nothing memorable.

Bottle. A- Milk chocolate, mocha, subtle coffee, slightly sweet, cream. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Milk chocolate, slight bitterness, cocoa, coffee. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth chocolatey finish. O- I’m shocked this is an imperial stout because it drinks and feels more like a sweet stout with a bit of bitterness. Regardless, it’s a very well done beer full of chocolate. Seemed to start out as milk chocolate and fade to a darker and more bitter chocolate by the end. Coffee was fairly subtle and so was the roastiness.
