Sample at GABF 10/03/2014, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Clear copper-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing. Tropical fruit, hops and malt in the nose. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops, melon and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Can - pours a clear amber - fizzy body at first, but fails to sustain any sort of head or lace - nose is toasty vienna malt, some Munich richness, a touch of grass and candied cherry - soft carbonation - texture is somewhat creamy, but gets a little watery late - flavor is toasty, moderately rich maltiness, a light touch of metallic character - sweet through the middle, but the finish is fairly dry, with moderate bitterness, a touch of spice, and a mild mineral character - a lot of potential here - many good qualities, but it doesn’t completely come together as well as I would like.

Sample at the Ohio Craft Brew Fest on 09/13/2014: Hazy golden color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, malt and fruit. Light-bodied with flavors of mild herbal hops, toasted malt and slight citrus. The finish is lightly bitter with a short grassy hop aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Sample at Pint House. Clear amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel, bready malt and mild hops. The finish is sweet with a caramel malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at The Ohio Taproom. This brew is a clear golden color with a medium white head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and toasted malt. The finish is mildly bitter with an herbal hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft: Clear, deep amber with a small white head. Pine and Citrus aroma. Pine and grapefruit-peel flavor. Light, fruity.....tasty....very sessionable.

Draft: Cloudy brown-orange with a small tan head. Bright fruit, spray paint, yeast aroma. Taste is very sweet, dark fruit, malty. Subdued, but easy alcohol presence towards finish. Very smooth.

Draft: Pours red-brown with a light tan head. Caramel, nut, chocolate aroma. Sweet chocolate malt...light earthy flavour. A very nice, mild porter.
