Tallgrass Brewing Company was founded by Jeff Gill in 2007 and now offers a full line of award-winning craft beers produced in a 60,000-square-foot facility located near the Flint Hills in Manhattan, Kansas. Through its Grain-to-Glass™ program, the brewery is dedicated to providing consistently remarkable beers by emphasizing quality in every aspect of production. As the largest brewery in Kansas and major regional brewery with distribution in 14 states, Tallgrass fearlessly explores, creates and shares new beers with fun, positive and exciting branding.

Admin Note: In 2018 the production facility closed but soon after Wichita Brewing Company purchased the brand and will be brewing Tallgrass beers on the Tallgrass original equipment which they purchased in 2015.

Can. Liked this one much better than the 16-bit. Gold in color, really nice head. Aroma was a citrus and light fruity smell. Taste was sweet upfront but not a nasty, bitter finish. Notes of citrus, grapefruit and hay.

Can. Whoa, another smack ya in the face IPA. Gold in color with a medium size head. Aroma is grapefruit and spruce. Taste is grape fruit, slightly sweet upfront with an extremely bitter finish.

Can. Dark brown in color with a large, large head that quickly disappeared and had no residue and no lace. Very strong coffee aroma. Taste is coffee, chocolate, vanilla, molasses and hints of bourbon.

Can. A really good beer from a can. Dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma is very strong dark chocolate. Taste is dark chocolate. Creamy, slightly sweet up front with a bitter chocolate finish.

Can. Dark brown with a small yet creamy head. Aroma was chocolate mocha and toast. Taste was mocha, dark roasted grains and a slightly sweet upfront flavor and a burnt toast bitter finish.

Eh. The flavor doesn't pack the same punch oatmeal cream stouts would normally do.. lame.
