Can at RBESG-06, GTN. Clear, reddish-brown beer with a small, beige head. Alcohol, coffee, chocolate and roasted malt in the nose. Sweet flavor with some roasted notes and coffee. Alcohol-dominated finish with a roasted sweetness as well. The beer reminds me more of a boozed-up dunkel than of a porter. (060826)

Can, RBESG 2006, Grand Tasting. ABV is 9.5%. Dark reddish brown colour, low head. Aroma and flavour: bakery full of rye bread and pastry, definitely malty with a moderate roastiness and distinct oaky vinous notes.

Dark brown colour. Molassesy, raisiny - rich malty aroma. Palate is quite oily, but again very two-dimensionally molassesy and raisiny. The most lager-like of Polish porters (all of which are lagers).
