Decided to rock the rooster on a Tuesday night, somewhat enamored with the idea of pouring a tripel from a pounder can... It fades. Pale orange color with a fizzy beige head. Lingering swirls. Nose is dry and dusty. Straw, florals, and yeast. Consistent with the flavor profile. Lots of barnyard and esters, not much fruit. Not much spice either. Grainy and malty. Crisp. Different than I expected, but enjoyable.

On tap at Tapwerks. Pours dark brown with a gray head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of a combination of pumpkin, spice, roasted malts and dark grains. Flavor has musty dark grains with a bit of bitter chocolate with underlying pumpkin, spice and creaminess.

On tap at Tapwerks! Pours a near clear orangish amber with an off white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has a nice bitter citrus and grass note with a backing note of bread. Flavor has notes of grapefruit and pine with a touch of sweetness and backing bread notes.

16oz can Thanks Jake65 Hazy golden with a full white dense head. Classic fruity spicy aroma. Some banana and bubblegum in the flavor along with typical peppery Belgian spice. Mild overall and drinkable for a trip.

16oz can Thanks Jake65 Hazy medium down with small light tan head. Nice toasted and toffee aroma and flavors. A little hop kick. More character and complexity than most browns I’ve had. Not bad.

Pour is a black with a large tan head. Aroma is plenty of roasted malt with a chocolate in the back round. Flavor is equally nice with a large roasted malt with some sweet sugary chocolate malt to follow. Finish has a decent char and an almost berry sweetness. This brewer is really growing on me. The first beers I’ve tried from them were kinda meh but each new beer they come out with impresses me more each time.

Sample at Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar. Bright golden pour with a medium thick white head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, yeast and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of earthy yeast, ripe fruit and mild floral hops. The finish is bready malt and yeast. Decent overall.

Draft sampled at a tasting event. From notes. Bretty, no real plum to be found. Good but not great.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a huge fluffy white head. Aroma is a nice yeasty ester with a little fruitiness in there. Flavor is decent yeasty creaminess with a hay like dry malt with fruit and funk brining things up. Did not pinpoint any plum but it has plenty of sweet fruitiness. Big on Belgian yeastiness with a decent amount of fruit and spice. My first saison in a can.
