Tan/amber, hazy, big head; nose - fruit, spices (ginger, mace), malts (cookie dough). Complex palate - chocolate, plums, apples, black pepper, hot from the oven biscuits. Warm, firm, complex.

I don't know about Belgian style, but you can taste the Belgian malts. When I brewed, I swore by DeWulf & Cosyns, and these guys apparently will be scrambling for replacements now, too. Rich gold colour, toasty popcorn, caramel and earthy hops work together. Average in a way, but at the upper echelon of average.

Chocolatey, hoppy, kind of low on the abv, lacking fruitiness but has no shortage of roast - like the Wellington County.

Cloudy, golden; aroma is a little overly phenolic; palate is great, though - sweet banana, vanilla, vaguely yeasty, some of the most definite clove flavour I've ever found.

Damn, milds get no love around here. Russet brown colour; full nutty, malty aroma; good body, tastes like it smells (nice malt profile). Very drinkable, nicely done.
