Enjoyed on tap at Piece while having some beers with a friend on a crowded Saturday night. Appearance is a dark but bright gold with a rich white head that laces. Aroma mostly citrus and pine, more citrusy than other IIPA’s. Taste is very citrusy and bitter, more hoppy than malty, surprising for an imperial ipa, thought this one was pretty good. Would gladly enjoy again!

Enjoyed on tap at Piece in Chicago, IL while grabbing beers with a friend. I remember this being better in all honesty. Appearance is a cloudy caramel with a thin white head. Aroma of banana and clove, also a slight bit of yeast.
Taste is like a typical Dunkelweiss except more malty and more of a yeast presence. It’s good but again, I remember this being better.

Enjoyed from growler at Goose Island Stout Fest 2012 in Chicago, IL. Appearance is black, moderate consistency, thin white rim. Aroma of light oat, bit of chocolate, smells nice. Taste is really good, uniquely complex, chocolate, nuts, oat, relatively light considering other high ABV beers I’ve had today, enjoyable.
