Draft at Carnivale Brettanomyces 2025. Didn't take many notes, just enjoyed good beers and good company. What I do remember: Some tartness, dry-ish, subtle spicy. Nice beer.

Keg at If It Ain't Dutch, Bermondsey. Hazy pineapple gold. Thin white head retreats to the rim. Frothy with a bitter boozy streak. Fruity with a citrus sour edge. Underlying creamy and malty core. Boozy edge. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish.

A: hazy ochre, thinning, white head.
A: ripe apricot, plum, nectarine, sour cream.
T: sour apricot, stone fruit pit, sour cream, bit funky.
F: tart stone fruit, lactic acid, some lemon.
P: medium body, slick texture, average carbonation.
Quite fruity, lacks some 'brett' comlexity perhaps.

Tap at Arendsnest, 11th June 2025. Pours a good looking hazy orange yellow. Aroma is peach, dank, tropical. Taste is aromatic, peach, floral - lovely one

330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark amber to chestnut colour with small to average, creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, off-white to beige head. Vinous fruity, mildly tangy and mildly funky aroma, caramel malty background, notes of blue grapes, some vanilla, dried fruit, fig, whiffs of black pepper. Taste is tart-ish, vinous fruity, slightly nutty, minimally tangy and funky, caramel malty basis without residual sweetness, minimally diluted hints of blue grapes, some coconut, dried fruit, raisin, fig, a touch of vanilla.
Creamy-watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally astringent palate, medium to fine, dense, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation.
Nice composition, mild, neither overly rich nor intense, sadly a tad too watery and light bodied - OK.

330ml can from Pardoen, Rotterdam. Poured almost black in colour with a thin off-white head. The aroma is roasty, ash, molasses. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, ashtray, light smokey, chocolate, coffee, light caramel, liquorice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation. A good old skool Porter.

The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a smooth, fresh, juicy citrus, light herbal, light dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
