19.2 oz can Joe Canal's, 3/19/25. Hazy yellowish-orange. Strong lace. Artificial tropical juice. Kind of odd in a way that's hard to explain other then it's candied sugar and artificial fruit and just not very good. Mouthfeel is sticky and hot. Somewhat unpleasant. Not my thing. I think this is the worst of the various overly boozy Voodoo Ranger beers I've tried.

Bottle from Binny's, "Best by 6 Oct 2024". Strong ale nose under the cap and after pouring. Ruddy brown color in the glass, a few bubbles feeding a thin head. Taste has some lighter malt than expected, maybe because barre-aging usually is used for stouts. Comes in like a Bourbon & water. No strong alcohol, just some nice bourbon and beer notes mingled.

Can. Hazy pale golden body with a nice, foamy white head. Aroma is distinct wheat with yeast, without much banana nor coriander but some citric/lemon touch. Slightly floral as well. Flavor is nice and refreshing wheat, hint of honey and light malt, some citric fruit without much acidity, moderate bitterness. Fine balanced body and flavors as well. Somehow pretty classic no-nonsense Belgium wheat but kinda different and original as well. Enjoyable.

Bottle. Slightly unclear golden body with a small, lacing white head. Mild, rather pleasant aroma of citric fruit, pale malt and wood. Flavor has a fine combination of malt, fruit and wood with a bit more discrete yeast than typical for the style. Medium body and OK aftertaste. Nothing really special going on, but it’s sure nice and easy drinkable with a very nice touch of wood.
