Draught Colour not determinable, nearly no head. A very typical mix of lactic acid & lemony aroma’s. There’s also a rubbery component, sulphury, but not off-putting. Vague fruitaroma, not necessarily peach. Superb lactic, tart taste - as a "fruited" Rodenbach would taste in the vats - with a dash of real lemonjuice. Not that I would do so, but it’s worthwhile. Tittilating, refreshing, great MF and palate. They’re not done with experiments at NBBC. Good for us. Eric, I love you, whomever you are.

Clear orange-copper; good yellowish head, persistent. Cascade hops in the nose, but discreet; I try, but cannot get kafir leaf in this nose. Little spicey notes, not identifiable, lots of malts, especially in the finish. Balance is quite good. Highly carbonated beer, light body. Good drinking beer, but not necessarily great. I seem to recall slightly different specs from the "Loft"?

Rerated and significantly downgraded 7/27/16 +++. Sampled on draft this beer poured a medium ruby-brown color with a large tan head. The aroma is sweet and yeasty with ripe fruits and molasses. The flavor is roasty with strong ripe fruits, medicine, tobacco and moderate bitterness and astringency. There is a mild yeasty note and some light sour tanginess in the finish. Not.as good as it used to be.

Poured a tradional brown ale color with hints of red and amber. Tastes of malts, and raspberries. The fruitness is clearly present in this brew, but not an overpowering type of taste. I enjoyed this beer and would recommend it to anyone who likes fruit beers.

Great amber color and pleasant aroma immediatley got my attention. Taste was malty, some hoppiness, citrus tones, and hints of several spices. Drinks well as a summer brew, good overall.

Re-rate: I used to like having this as an alternative to macros when tap/bottle selection was limited... Last night, my wife’s co-worker exclaims "Hey, at least they have good beer here!" I look with great anticipation to discover Michelob Ultra, Corona, and Fat Tire. I think to myself, ’oh well, its been awhile since I’ve had one of those.’ Now it seems that all I get from this is malty, bready, cardboardy nothingness. Hops are no where to be found... It doesn’t suck, but it doesn’t taste like I remember it from 2-3 years ago.

Smallish Bottle. Very clear amber colour, nutty, hoppy, malty, full flavoured and very pleasant indeed.
