Bottle. Cloudy orange-amber beer with an off-white head. Sweet candy/malt aroma. Sweet malt/grain flavor with some citrus aftertaste. Easy drinking. Refreshing.

This is the first beer I have encountered from this brewer. Sampled from an attractive 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark brown color with ruby highlights and a small tan head. The aroma is toasted malt and dry chocolate. The flavor is dry chocolate and toasted malt with a nice toasted finish.

This pours a deep mahogany brown with all of the ruby highlights one could wish for. Large light brown head that gives off a yeasty floral aroma with chocolate, coffee and tangy apple in the background. Some bittersweet chocolate on the tongue that is devlivered smooth and creamy. Imagine a good Brown Ale, a Porter and a nice spicy Belgian blended together. Thanks to csbosox for sending this one a while back!

A hazy orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of hops and wheat. The flavor is wheaty with a dry end and a thin body. A boring beer - as it says on the label a mouthfull of air.

Pour is the color of sunshine with a big white head. Aroma is wheaty but very hard to detect. Flavor is extremly weak. Almost like drinking water with a bt of lemon in there. Very sub-par.

Pour is a dull yellow with a white head. Aroma is almost non-existant. Flavor is more malty than hoppy and i agree with most reviews here that this is fairly average.

Bottle Pours a cloudy orange with a medium sized off white head. This quickly dissipates leaving silky smootin lacing. Slightly sour citurs aroma with a little musty yeast notes as well. Flavors are similar dry and begish yeast flavor with some lemon and orange flavors as well. Strange flavor. Nice soft carbonation. Astringent trailer.

POur is a very hazy off orange with a frothy white head. Aroma is a bit lemony with notes of vanilla. Flavor is yeasty and caramel with lots of sweetness throughtout. You get a nice dose of wet hops on the end of the swallow. Vey tasty and quite unique.

Didn’t expect to like this one quite as much as I did... All told, out of the bottle it looks about like a cross between an amber ale and a wheat beer. Nice amber/orange color with a lot of haze. Lemony nose. Body is rather crisp and ends with a slight citrus twist at the end that is refreshing. Definitely worth trying...

2004 bottle compliments of csbosox who sent an incredible assortment of stuff I’ve never tried. Anyways, I got all excited before opening this only to have the usual New Belgium disappointment. I don’t know what it is, they filter the absolute lifeblood out of this. They should win an award for most filtered beers. Beyond that it’s got a decent raspberry and brown caramel and toffee malt flavor, but it’s just so mediocre. Like a brown ale with a touch of raspberry puree. Great color, aside from being absolutely clear. Aroma of caramel, tobacco, maple and raspberry. Too much hops as well, on the end; a very dry bitterness without any real sweetness, just some fruit acidity.
