Draught @ The Ginger Man, NYC. Pours slightly hazy with small off-white head. Clear vinous aroma with citric and hoppy touches. Dusty onset, giving way to a vinous flavour, ending on a clear sour note. Nice.

Bottle, vintage 2013 batch 4. Pours light golden with a small creamy head. Aroma is sour with vinegar, wood and barrels. Creamy body with soft carbonation. Flavour is sour with balsamic vinegar, wood and oak barrels.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with a small off-white creamy head that laces well. Aroma is, well, odd. I smell some Brett, but its kind of bathroomy rather than barnyardy, and some fruit and wheat as well. Flavor is a DEFINITE improvement, with citrus, Brett (back in a good way), wheat, more citrus. Initial sweetness, drying out on the finish. Minimal bitterness and not much in the way of extraneous spices either, which makes me happy. Medium body, bubbly carbonation. A nice beer once you get past the aroma.

Aroma: The nose is heavy brett, funk, horse blanket, spice, wheaty notes, and light fruit
Appearance: Pours a cloudy golden color with a thick froth of creamy white head and lots of lace
Flavor: The flavor is funky up-front, brett, spice, yeast, similar to the nose, finishes more earthy
Palate: The body is medium, it has a creamy feel, average-plus carbonation, and a clean, dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a nice one with quite a bit of bretty goodness to it. Really works nicely. I didn't get too much blood orange, but there are some fruity notes mixed in here as well. Good stuff.

Bottle thanks to the Dood! Pours a clear ruby red with a gray head that dissipates quickly and completely. Aroma has a good amount of brett with sour red fruits and a touch of sweet whiskey. Flavor has sour stone fruits throughout with a bit of brett and whiskey notes.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Crooked Stave. Pours a milky, yeasty yellow orange appearance with a white head. Whole lotta spicy, herbal brett in the nose along with oranges, mango, tangerine, juicy fruity aroma. Somewhat musky, a bit oaky. Very faint plastic note that I sometimes get from their brett strain. Lightly tart, big oaky/vanilla, lightly sweet, orange juicy, bretty, a touch floral flavor that finishes somewhat tart and citrusy. I could be wrong but I’m getting more in this one than the previous St. Bretta releases. This seems to be a bit more juicy than the other releases, but I enjoy it nonetheless.

Bottle at RBSG. From notes. Very good. Citrus and tropical fruits with loads of pineapple and mango. Holy crap I could drink this every day. Very good.
