Description
Great beer, great service, great space. Boiler Brewing Company and tap room is located in downtown Lincoln in the historic Grand Manse building. The stately stature of the Grand Manse is accurately reflected in the bold beers that brewmaster Tim Thomssen prefers to make. Aside from the ever rotating list of beers, mead and cider, food is also available. A unique experience in every glass.

a: crazy opaque pink coloured body | almost no head
a: fresh pineapples | rich lactose | tart oranges
f: rich wheats | tropically | curacao finish
t: peaches | strong icing sugar | refreshing fruits
o: amazing throughout | rich fruits | this is a REAL Boiler beer! This is why I rave about the brewery, not the 'spiked seltzers' that were there when I visited this time!!!

Bottle at share. Dark, dark violet pour, bordering on black. Boozy aroma, berries buried in the back. Taste is fruity, sweet, a touch of tartness and then obliterated by a healthy burn. Sticky fruit lingers.

Tavour can: black with fairly quickly dissipating beige head. Aroma is loads of coffee beans... think coffee shoppe in the 90s with quirky decor. Some chocolate. Taste is heavy dark roasted coffee. Kind of fruity actually. Fine but not the kind of coffee I like to drink.

Can from Tavour: black with beige head. Aroma is caramel, coffee, some cocoa. Not too sweet. Robust flavoring from the adjuncts but the pleasant aspects of the base beer shine throygh.

Tavour: pours black with light beige head. Aroma is loads of cocoa, not really a dark or milk chocolate, but more like
Straight cocoa powder. Taste is modestly bitter, not particularly sweet. Light to medium body. Chocolatey aftertaste. Solid.
