Ovo je pšenična piva sa 5.5% alk, nazvana po kralju Ludwigu koji je osigurao svojoj obitelji 200 godina eksluzivnog prava na proizvodnju pšeničnog piva u Bavarskoj. Barem tako kažu iz ove pivovare König Ludwig Schloßbrauerei Kaltenberg.

500ml bottle. Opalescent, orange, golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Expressionless, pale malty and minimally strawy aroma. Taste is minimally spicy, pale malty, minimally strawy, light peppery spiciness. Slightly oily texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Simple and monotonous, at least not too sweet - so-so.

Bottle online from Raynville Superstore. Pours a clear light golden colour with a large fluffy white head. Aromas of grains, hay and white bread. Taste has toasty grains, hay and more white bread with an added touch of lemon and peppery spice. Malty with no bitterness. Medium body with a lively fizzy mouthfeel. Refreshing summery Helles.

Bottle online from Raynville Superstore. Pours a clear golden colour with a large throthy white head. Aromas of grains, hay, grass, bread and a medicinal note. Taste has grains, hay, bread, honey, a little more grass and medicinal note with an added hint of floral. Medium to full body, average carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Not bad but i would prefer it if this medicinal note was not there.

Bottle at a Bavarian thingy. Cloudy orange yellow. Dry wheat, a hint of apricot. Sweet, metallic dry. No banana. Kind of carbonated water with a hint of lemon and a body of wheat. Does what it says it would do.
