500ml bottle, 2017 vintage, drunk side by side with the Lord Raspberry. Pours hazy bright yellow. Lemon, white grape, almond, vanilla, plum, cherry, strong oak, bit of barnyard, a slightly sweet white chocolate. Surprisingly full body and low carbonation, works well. Extremely well done.

500ml bottle, 2017 vintage, drunk side by side with the Time Lord. Pours orange and quite clear rather than the red you'd expect. Strong raspberry aroma, real fresh tart raspberry, barnyard funk, lemon, white balsamic, vanilla, bit of oak. Creamy fizzy body like champagne. Excellent, though not quite the complexity of the Time Lord.

Can. Pours clear golden with spritz head. Stone fruit nose. Nice fizz in mouth with bit of puckering sourness. Very heavy taste. Super refreshing. Excellent table beer. Session able for sure.

330ml bottle into schooner glass. Lo-fi aroma of malt and distant grain. Amber beer, high fine carbonation, thin white layer of bubbles on top. Slightly prickly mouthfeel. Fairly neutral flavour, finish is fruity with a little malt. Not very grainy for a Pils but bloody easy to drink. Very hot Sydney night (11pm 26°C), this beer is gone!

(Styles seem to have changed back to Lambic - Gueuze from Lambic Style - Gueuze, otherwise I would have added this as a Gueuze). Tap, not quite forced on me by a capering with glee Dan. Just hazy straw yellow with a dense white head that lasts all the way. Aroma is fruity with apricot stones, bracing lemony funk, peach, bracken, oak. Creamy. Quite punchy sourness with some rumbling depth as well as topical lemon and spice notes. No vinegar edge. Has a smoothness to it as oak and a slight honeyed toastiness grip at the end. Finish goes on forever. Reminded me of young 3F geuze.

'Can. Clear amber, an inch of white head. Aroma of tenor register tropical fruit - mango skin, feijoa, guava - some grapefruit tries to peek out too. Light toasty malt. Those sort of fruity aromas usually come with "dank" stinkiness, but here they''re clean. And the palate is limpid too - there''s some firm caramel-tinged malt, lots of tropical fruit, then sharper citrus and firm bitterness struggle though but do arrive. Very good.' --- Beer merged from original tick of Kiwi Hop IPA on 19 Nov 2018 at 12:36 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8. Original review text: 'Can. From bottle, sparkling version, at the inaugural Beer Jerk Bunker bottle share, thanks to Luke. Pours black. Whisky, coffee, plum, dark chocolate, blackberry, strong whisky. Not a particularly good body. Interesting.

Lovely smooth barrel aging. Woody, fruity, port'y. Sweet with a dry woody aftertaste. Easy drinking.

Tap - a generous taster. Deep red with lasting beige head. Aroma of sour fruit, slightly caught toast, woody and stemmy notes. Brighter tasting than Rodenbach Grand Cru with raspberry vinegar, lemon, light bread crust, oak Some depth but with a vibrant freshness. Tempted to score higher but need more. I guess this is a blend and the Eenhorn I had a while go is a component. Right up my street. --- Beer merged from original tick of House Red on 10 Jul 2018 at 14:02 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8.
