Bottle @ Cafe Stoffel, Tilburg. Clear pee colored with no head. Smell and taste are both very sweet, very artificial, loads of sugar and bubblegum. Only for the real sweet tooth.

Golden colour (Who would have thought?!?) with no head at all. Aroma of pure apples and honey with very little else, perhaps some medicinal notes. Light-bodied; honey and apples noticeable at first with a very sweet finish and showing some light malt and a touch of alcohol on the very end. Aftertaste shows pure and simple, a very nice and sweet honey flavour with a ton of apple flavours and nothing pungent or bitter, and definitely nothing out of the ordinary - very easy to drink, very sweet and super appley. Overall, a nice cider with a good profile, easy to drink and not bitter or pungent in the slightest bit. My can was produced in Belgium, is labelled ’Gold Apple’. I sampled this super small 5,1 ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Ballston (Arlington), Virginia for US$0,99 for a four pack, sampled at home in Washington on 09-May-2017.

5.1 oz. "Limited edition" mini-cans, 4/$1. Initial nose of apple juice, followed by a tinge of alcohol. Color is bright gold, with a sparkle of bubbles for a little while. Taste is, well, fortified apple juice. With fizz. And extra sugar. Really lacking anything that makes it feel like a cider instead of some Applejack.

Bottle at home. If a drink needs ice, it’s probably to hide some of the tastes. So YOLO to that, I wanna taste it, so it’s only logical to do this without ice. Pours clear blonde, small white head fades instantly. smell is apples, rather sweet, but no extremes. Taste is sharp, full apples, but not very natural. bit sweet, but the sweetness takes some time to build up towards the back. Not at all terrible, but not at all memorable.

Bottle in a random bar in dendermonde. Looks clear lightyellow. Smell is apples, bit sweetm taste is sweet, appleskin, green apples. Easy drinkin sweet cider with medium carbo. Probably a bit arteficial, but its fun to taste so much apeskin in a cider.

Bottle 300ml. [ As Apple Bandit Cider - Juicy Pear ].Clear light yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate apple and pear, sweet apple - sugary apples. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, green apple, sweet pear, apple juice, sugary. 750ml bottle on Valentines Day. Pours a reddish orangey-gold colour with a white foam head that diminishes and aroma of juicy fruity red apple. Taste is sweet fruity, some apple, sugary, with slight tannins. Light bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry fruity finish. OK.

Bottle. Pours clear yellow, big white head. Smell is dry, very, very mild apple factor. Taste is sharp, bit dry indeed. Hidden apple aromatic features. Tastes a bit too much like champagne to me. Ending is bit more apples. Doable in general. Too high carbo, thin mf ( as expected) OK

330ml bottle from Spar, Tromso. Chugged while enjoying the Northern Lights on Prestvannet Lake. Clear gold with a much lighter, sweeter commercial aroma than the original UK-brewed Strongbow. Indeed the taste is sweeter and can be firmly slotted in the lightweight, sugary commercial pop category of cider. Perfectly fine for a few sips but I’d shudder at a full evening on this.

Sampled from a 12 oz clear bottle this cider poured a dark amber color with a trace soapy white head that faded instantly and left no lacing. The aroma was fresh ginger and apple juice. The flavor was ginger powder, apple peel and apple juice. Long finish. Medium body. Solid.
