Rerate from bottle. 4 5 5 3 10 roast, burned caramel/nuts, burned diacetyl, how does that work? Darkest amber, golden cream. Burned almond cake, roast sugar, dactyl strangeness. Herbal notes, weird. Old rating 7 4 8 4 15 Bottle. Bready roast, light fruit, bitter notes. Chestnut, off-white layer. Nutty, light choclaty start, fruits and berries, honey sweetness. Full chewy, body weakens a little towards the finish. Flavourfull and moreish. Roasted almonds in the aftertaste.

The bottle looks simple, but good. The beer in the glass is a bit darker than exspected, nice head. Starts soft-malty, roasty in the background without being too much. Some fruity notes of plum, caramell notes, also some coffee. Well balanced finish. I really liked it!

bottle, traded with wastl. Clear chestnut colour with a small beige head. Malty nose. Medium-bodied, flavours of caramel and spicy aromatic hops. Shy hints of bitter chocolate and cocoa powder. Most impressive is the palate, I’ve rarely had a beer with such a pleasant palate. Extremely smooth and velevety yet with signs of liveliness. A delicious beer - a masterpiece, ein Meisterstück.

Bottle, 4.9%. Good malty aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Small stable tan head. The flavour is nicely malty, slightly sweet. Good mouthfeel and good bitterness to balance. This must be excellent fresh on draught.
