T’is the season for wet hopped harvest ales! A light honey gold body topped with a pillowy white head. The nose is very fresh featuring the scent of dank, newly picked cascade hop oil. It’s like smelling your fingers after a few hours of cascade cone picking. The taste has a solid hop profile for a seasonal pale ale. Cascade all the way with Grapefruit, citrus and some tropical fruit. There is a pepperiness on the tongue and some rindiness to the hops as the tasting goes on. A solid biscuit malt underpins the hop forward taste elements. Medium to light body and a nice dry finish.

Funny name for a lager. Was expecting a Blonde ale. Refreshing malt forward lager. A bit crisper than a major commercial lager, but very little going on here for a micro product. Not regretting drinking it though on a hot summer evening.

Fresh, punchy taste and nose permeate this IPA. The nose has an intriguing mixture of fresh hops, roasty caramel and malt and a hint of vanilla. The taste has a solid but non-astringent bitterness with some pine accents. The hops are underlayed by very tasty rich and sweet malt. Poppin’ balanced taste in this Amsterdam Breweries creation. A real treat.
