Can from Hops at Home. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of pine and hobnobs. Taste is bitter, oily, resinous. Bitter finish.

On tap at The Rake Cloudy orange gold colour thin cream head. Big tropical fruit aroma. Pineapple mango etc. More of the same in the mouth. No thickness in mouth. More pineapple and mango flavour. Light sour fruit on the finish. It's got a bit of bite on the finish. OK

I never did found out which of the game show twins Melanie or Martina who co-presented ITV's 'Fun House' was the older. I bet Pat Sharp knows. Good bodied (the beer I mean) with strength a little bit of a factor in aroma and taste, but it's a tasty hoppy dominant IPA as well.

We're on a looper - hurtling around the sun at quite a pace, but today the earth's tilt is giving us the most sunlight in a day until the next full loop for those of us in the northern hemisphere! Very hazy golden and very sweet in its tropical fruit, perhaps a hint of pine too, but a little overbearing coupled with its strength as its texture is a little more difficult.

On tap at Ebenezers, Nantwich (at 4.8%). Pours golden amber with a small off-white head and good lacing. The aroma has bread crusts and yeast with some hoppy traces. In the mouth it is quite bitter with a creamy texture. Flavour is mixed hops, spice and pine with some underlying malts and hints of marmalade and tropical fruit later on leading to a fruity and somewhat dry finish. This is decent – plenty of bite to it.
