Description

Bottle 75cl. bought December 2014 (!) from my 'cellar' @home poured into a teku glass. Alcoholic and slightly sourish nose. Murky amberbrown colour, thin short lived creamy tan head, no lacing. Aroma sweet malt, slight ly sourish touch, alcohol, caramel, raisins, dark fruit, candied cherries. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, surprisingly light onset, smooth, velvetty, toffee, raisins, dried dark fruits, cherry bonbons, warming alcohol but well-hidden, in the middle slightly becoming sourish, more cherry bonbons. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, smooth sweetbitter aftertaste, dried cherries, light chocolate touch, had expected more body but the depth is quite okay, good.

Sample from bottle. Unclear golden body under a big, off-white head. Aroma of malt, candy sugar, generic frutiness and spicy Belgium yeast. Taste is sweet, smooth malt, toffee, candy sugar, spices, fruitiness and notable bitterness. Classic nice Glazen Toren with a little hop twist in the positive direction. Easy drinkable and pleasant.

Bottle at home. Clear (initially) golden color, huge sized, a bit foamy, and bubbly white head that lasts for quite a long time. Aroma and flavor are malts, lightly citrus, hayish, distant yeasty notes, moderately hayish hop bitter. Quite well balanced I must say. Decent body for a light ABV beer like this and suitable average to decent carbonation. Way better than expected. Well brewed.

750ml bottle from the interwebs. It pours a lovely bright orangey - gold with a thick, fluffy white head which has a good duration. The aroma is soft, rustic malts, bready, cereal, touch of orangey zing, dried apricot, peach wine, touch of sherbet and sponge cake. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, bitter - sweet, juicy, bright, peach, apricot, mango, orange marmalade, toasty grains, bread, sponge cake, dull acidity, sherbet, damp grass and a nip of alcohol with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate+, fluffy carbonation. Brighton and quite unique for a triple. More stone fruits than estery apple/pear/melon vibes. Enjoyed it.
