Description

750 ml bottle Dark golden/orange color with huge head and vigorous carbonation. Aroma of piney hops, grapefruits, and citrus. Citrus and pine hop flavor, not so sweet. Very hoppy, bitter and fragrant finish. A it of honey sweetness balances it well. Very spicy as well. A fabulously balanced, nuanced tripel.

750 ml bottle from Country Club Liquors. Was a gusher even though I barely lifted the cap and slowly released the pressure. After my experience with the Ondineke Oilsjtersen Tripel and several raters reporting explosive uncappings I was very careful. Nose of toffee, molasses, and yeasty spices. Cloudy dark brown with a huge but quick dissipating tan head. Flavor was slightly sweet, lightly bitter, caramel, toffee, and molasses. Once the head disipates it’s a fairly flat beer.

750 ml bottle provided by csbosox. Pour is hazed golden, darkish copper with a nice one inch white head. Aroma of grainy toasty malt, floral fruit, mild yeastiness. Full and engaging nose. Taste is the grainy toasted malt, a full clove spice emerges and the yeast is apparent to spice up the finish. Really soft taste. Palate is medium, medium carbonation, really soft mouth feel. Super drinkable. Thanks for bringing this one Chris. This was one of my favorites of the night.
