Chelmsford Summer Beer Fest. Cask. Very hazy gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Nice condition. Light malts. An overarching floral bitterness. Passion fruit and grapefruit. Light finish. A little bitter but not bad at all.

Chelmsford Summer Beer Fest. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, a few lonely pale cream colour bubbles. Palate is smooth and mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Light floralness with a touch of soap. Some dried fruits and ripe orange. Orange peel. Light dry finish. Not a dogs breakfast as so many cask lagers are.

Tried at the Hop and Barley, Lincoln. Black colour with a tan head. Fruity and berry aroma with roasted and slight chocolate malt. Taste light sweet with a roasted bitter finish.

Cask @ Star Inn, Huddersfield. Festival Ale. Amber coloured (certainly not blonde), with a lightly stewed fruitiness in both aroma and taste. Has a thick frothy head.

Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival at KEGS. Cask. Clear gold beer, small bubbly white head. Palate is light, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Clean pale malts. Ripe citrus followed by floral bitterness. More ripe fruits on the finish. Modest bitter linger. Is this what Elephant School was supposed to be about? A bog standard golden?

Pigs Ear Day 1. Cask. Clear amber - gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth, fairly dry and has modest fine carbonation. Tangy malts. Spicy caramel. A soap streaked fruity floralness. ]Light finish. Christmas spiced nonsense.

Cask at Pig’s Ear 2015. It ours clear pale amber with minimal had. The nose is toasty, grainy, bread and cereal. The taste is toasty, grainy, oily, syrupy, straw, stewed stone fruit, apple skin, honeyed cereal and twig with a slick finish. Light body and oily mouth-feel. I thought this was pretty poorly executed. Very oily with not much flavour underpinning it.
