Cask at Brighton Bierhaus. It pours hazy golden with a tiny bubbly white head. The aroma is rich, tangy, earthy, oak, vanilla, apple pie, sherbet and limeade. The taste is soft, sweetish, juicy, vanilla, oak, light spice, tannin, apple pie & vanilla ice-cream with a slick finish. Medium body, flat and oily mouth - feel. Works well.

500ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Has more going on than most ciders. Tangy and some overripe apple things going on. Decent enough.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - amber with a fluffy head particularly for a cider. Nose - apple skin and brown oxidised apple. Taste - more brown apple. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - good.

BIAB at Half Moon, Darlington. Golden colour, no lasting head and aroma of juicy apple. Taste is mellow apple, sweetish, toffee & dried fruit, with lingering juicy vanilla and sherry hints. Syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, low soft carbonation, drying finish. Nicely drinkable.
