Description
The return of Outlaw Brewing Co. is something we’d been working towards for 12 months, with the aim of producing limited edition beers of varying abv’s and styles on a semi-regular basis. The first Outlaw beer was brewed in 1996 and, after a few years of inactivity, it’s back in 2012!

The brewery was taken over in 2017 and relocated to their current location towards the end of 2019.

Cask @ Flying Horse Hotel, Rochdale. Golden with a creamy head, not looking weak at all, and it maintains a good hoppy character for its strength. It has a somewhat floral-hoppy nose.

Cask-conditioned at the Rook & Gaskill, York 21/1/2017. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Aroma of tangerines and a touch of floral hops. Flavour had some lemon fruit and biscuity malts, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Cask at Crate - London. Pours clear ruby-gold with a thick, lasting off-white head. Heavy pine in the nose, orange rind, bread. Medium sweet flavor with oppressively gooey, piney hop character, bitter pine and grass, toasty bread, some earth, marmalade. Full bodied, chewy, with soft carbonation. Heavily resinous on the finish, more sugary bread, earth, citrus, grass. Way too thick and chewy.
