Tap at the Birmingham Beer Bash, 2016. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is sweet malt, molasses, rich alcohol, red berry fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet with a sweet, alcoholic bitter, bourbon palate. Medium bodied with flat carbonation. All the enjoyment is in the aroma. The alcohol takes control after that.

22nd July 2016: 33cl bottle at home into a La Chouffe tulip during a ’Random Tasting Evening’ with myself. Light golden pour, mini-haze, white rocky head. Very hop centric with plenty going on if hops are your thing. Not as bitter as I expected, but certainly a hop fest all on its own. Might have over cooled it, because I didn’t get the huge hop aromatic nose they claim. Liked it though.
