Description
Stroud Brewery was established in 2006 by Greg Pilley and his wife Jade. The business has grown steadily and now employs over 20 people. We recently constructed a brand new building purpose built for our growing needs. It provides more space for the brewery, allowing an increase in our production capacity, a larger office and a canal-side tap with beautiful views of the Golden Valley.

We have created a range of organic beers that we are really proud of, because they taste great and their production supports the local farmers and the ecosystems they manage. The standards we must adhere to for organic certification support our ambition to be a business that cares for people and planet.

Can. Nose is yeasty, lemon, hedgerow. Taste is lemon, yeasty, bitter grass, hedgerow, (I am assuming nettle - but its 10 years+ since I've had nettle home brew), ,dry woody, raspberry leaf, bitter herbal finish. It's OK, and has a lot that reminds me of experimental home brews I've had with various bits of garden ephemera. Would be interesting with brett. I don't love it though.

Can from Gloucester Services, Gloucestershire. Very dark with a pleasant drinkable dark malt character, without being too stated. Has a small head and a small sweetness in its taste, with the latter a tad more evident in its nose.
