Pour is a murky gold with a large white head. Aroma is crackery wheat malt, a little grapefruit hop and a bit of alcohol. Flavor is more of the same with a chewy wheat malt and some bitter hops. The odd thing about this was in the finish. A noticeable sourness was felt. I don't think that was supposed to be there. Not one of this brewers finest efforts

Interestingly funky blonde ale. Lots of spent apricot and peach notes but also thin and blondey.

16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but was just released. Pours very hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy bitterness; peppery yeast spiciness; and light wheat tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.5%. Overall this is an excellent DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and wheat malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV with the moderately bitter/spicy/resinous/drying finish, not too overly aggressive. Nice Citra, Loral, and Mosaic profile. Very juicy/dank/earthy hops and balanced Kviek farmhouse yeast; with a 100% wheat malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness from lingering dryness. A very enjoyable, and pretty unique style example. Not sure why they don't just label it as a Belgian IPA. There are plenty of breweries using the yeast strain in NEIPAs as well.

Pour is a chill haze golden with a large white head. Aroma is a big pine resin and grapefruit. Just like a big dank old school IPA. Flavor is more of the newer hazy IPA's. Mango, pear, tangerine and some cantaloupe. This was very flavorful. No alcohol is felt and the beer just clings to the side of the glass. This was really flavorful and the best of both IPA worlds.

Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, lactose, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, mint, pine, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, lactose, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 9.5%. Overall this is an awesome milkshake DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, lactose, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV; with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Awesome Citra/Simcoe profile. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; great lactose and pale/wheat malt backbone. Not overly sweet from lingering resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and well made style example. More of a hazy than NE style, as with others I've had from them. Still really impressive.
