Description
Initially launched in early 2020 as a gypsy brewery, they opened their own brewery in Autumn 2020.
Newbarns is a brand-new brewery, but the team behind it certainly know what they’re doing. McKenzie, his partner Emma McIntosh, Jonny Hamilton and Fred Bjerkseth have an impressive array of experience between them from the likes of The Kernel, Siren and Beavertown breweries

Can direct from Newbarns. It pours crystal clear golden with a decent white head. The aroma is incredibly fresh and fragrant, floral, toasty grains, cereal, zingy tangerine, kumquat, mango, touch green, herbal and slightly woody. The taste is firmly dry, punchy bitterness, snappy, crispy, green, grassy, herbal, leafy, straw, pithy, zesty citrus, woody, sappy and a rather clean malt base with dry, firm finish. Average body and fine to moderate carbonation. Crisp and quenching. I really enjoy Newbarns take on IPAs. Well constructed and satisfying.

Can shared thanks to sjogro. Slighr hazy golden with fluffy white head. Cloves, sweet wheat, doughy, overripe fruits with some banana but not too strong, sugary. Medium swert, very light sour and bitter. Medium bodied, light creamy. Well done, a massive flavor bomb.
