75 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and toasted maltyband caramelish. Bitter, fruityand slight herbal. Dry and bitter. Smooth fruity finish.

06/02/2016 – sample @ BAB shared with tderoeck, 77ships and kradel. Hazy golden with small white head. Nose is grains, lemon, spices. Taste is wheat, lemon, spices, light sourness, wattery.

Witbier apparently made for a restaurant, tasted at BBF. Thick, dense, creamy, beaten egg-like head over a hazy ’old gold’ coloured beer. Aroma of coriander seed (unsurprisingly), green banana, soap, white bread, honey, raw turnip, lemon peel, hint of white pepper, unripe gooseberry. Refreshing onset, green apple and banana, subtle sourishness, grainy and lightly honeyish, soft wheaty middle, soapy touch, a lot of coriander in the finish as well as a brief hint of hop bitterishness. Bit overspiced, but it does show some character in comparison with many more widely available witbiers and I can appreciate that.

DraughtSmall white rim over golden-orange beer. Dry herbal, bit weyish nose. Bitter herbal, dry flavours, dried herbs, pharmaceutical. Dry, and even a tad astringent. Medium bodied, quite slick. Ain’t bad, but a difficult, and despite the blurb, not an easy-drinking beer.

Sampled at Brugge beer festival 2016. Hazy golden with a minimal white head. Aroma of big herbs, yeast and weedy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Sampled @ Bierfestival Brugge 2016. Thank you for sharing! Very hazy orange with little white head. Nose is weird metallic bread with ditch water, herbal, sugar, weird iron notes, overly heavy on the ditch water. Taste is fizzy ditch water, overly spices, spoiled yeast, boring insecticide, white bread,… Thin fizzy lemon body,… Real weak mess.
