Description

Pours hazy dark golden/orange with a foamy, white head. The aroma contains citrus, orange peel, yeast and some herbs. Very fruity overall, as in the taste: medium sweet and light bitter. Slick texture, fizzy carbonation, but a short, astringent finish, conflicting with the fruity onset.

0.25 l on tap at ’Le Trappiste’. Hazy, golden yellow with a medium large, dense, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity and a little yeasty-spicy aroma of lemon peel, coriander and vanilla. Sweetish, quite fruity and a bit spicy taste of lemon peel, vanilla, coriander, some banana and a touch of fresh grass, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly grassy and a bit yeasty finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Nice one, expected it to be rather bland but it turned out to be quite refreshing!
