Bottle at home in London with Lyoli - picked up this bottle at Oddbins London Bridge. Pours perfectly clear, rich honey-gold with a slight, creamy white head. Aroma holds buttery biscuits and slight caramel, some doughy bread. Medium sweet flavor, lightly syrupy, some caramel, buttered biscuits, some hay, hints of toasted straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet malty finish, lightly toasted bread, still some dough, a bit more caramel. In it’s sugary simplicity it is enjoyable, but it’s not a great beer.

BBE 30.10.2013 - Pours dark orange with a large white head. Aroma of exotic fruity hops, hints of lemon, sweet citrusy and caramely notes. Taste is sweet, juicy, caramely and slightly hoppy with some notes of exotic fruits. Finish is dry and a bit harsh with juicy hops, some resinous and fruity notes. Quite juicy and fruity, but slightly unbalanced IPA.

Bottle from an Odd Bins near the Earl’s Court station. Pours light copper with a transient white head. Aroma has a hint of toffee with some light fruit. Med body. Flavor starts toffee and picks up coffee. At least that’s what my brain is coming up with. It’s bitter and the coffee seems to be turning into hop. It drinks really nicely, and it’s finishing bitter after the "toffee" washes away.

330ml bottle. Cloudy dark orangey golden to amber colour, some chunks floating around, with average, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Cautious piney and herbal hop aroma. Taste is cautiously herbal hoppy, in the finish bitter, minimally soapy and with a sulphuric onion touch. Not so good.

Bottle from Oddbins London Bridge. Clear brown orange red beer with a thin beige head. Some spicy almost rye like aroma. Good malts good red fruit. The willamette hops are both fruity and peppery. Yes a pretty good malty beer with a decent whack of hops on the finish. I’d been waiting to have something from this brewery that I really enjoyed for some time and this seems to deliver a beer I like. Small touch of diacetyl on the aroma as it warms up or is that caramel? Anyway it works ok in this beer.

Bottled (from AbM). More or less very deep amber colour (close to back) with a mediumsized beige foamy head, that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is mild chocolate, some roasted notes as well as quite fruity and floral notes. Flavour is rather similar in a quite nice balance. For once a pleasant Black IPA, which doesn’t overdo any of the flavours, but instead making a nice and smooth combination.
