And god, Gunther knows how to do it when it comes to hops! The second is Julien du Tremblay who is none other than the founder of Guru Beer. Guru Beer is a distribution company for craft beers located in the south of France. both passionate about well-hopped beers!

Small head, fast disappearing over fully hazy yellow beer, opaque. Asafoetida, dry herbs, yeast, other grains. Faint hint at caramel. Buttermilk, lunaria. Bitterish, fresh vegetables and exotic fruit - starfruit, guave, longan. Rootspices, vegetable leaf. Quite slick & creamy - the other grains are active. Good carbonation, alleviating the hopoil stickyness. The more hops - the more malts needed for balance - often dulling the overall flavour: as here.

On tap at Taphouse CPH, pours a cloudy bright golden orange with a small white head. Aroma has an unusual hop character, with spicy, herbal, and tropical fruity hops, with moderate sweetness. Flavour is quite fruity, with lots of tropical stone fruits, minimal chalk, some resins, and just enough sweet malt to back. Very fruity and vibrant. Very good.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 20/05/2025.
Hazed orange topped with a just off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is bitter orange, grapefruit, grass, pine needle.
Taste comprises orange pith, light coconut shavings, grapefruit, hop spice, pine resin, mango splash.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come resinous hop bitterness allied to a light rising boost.
Tidy TIPA ... bitter sweet balance is kept in check.

Tap at Ambasada. Murky orange body, not much heavy. Heavy fruity aroma, loads of stone fruit. Stone fruit, some floral notes in the soft, full body, almost no bitterness. Okay.
