500mL bottle, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out some gentle habanero pepper, cocoa nibs, some vanilla and cinnamon, and tempered barrel. Flavour is rather murky and adjunct-laden, with lots of cocoa nibs, a touch of tart habanero, vanilla, and bourbon. The integration of flavours is not all that great, but it's decent enough. The complexity level is pretty low for such a beer. Not bad, but as with all of Reverence BIB beers, this isn't too impressive.

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with dark coffee, light chili pepper, licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, molasses, very nice.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Nose brings out a nice mix of bourbon, maple and a touch of vanilla - not overly intense. Flavour is cloyingly sweet, with intensely sweet maple upfront. The bourbon and vanilla are further back, dominated by the maple. There's little complexity here, as with most beers in this series. Maple-dominant, cloyingly sweet and simple. Okay.

500mL bottle, pours black with a medium light brown head. Nose seems somewhat metallic, but that could be the banana and coconut, with gentle rum and a touch of roast. Flavour is quite sweet, with lots of lactose, loads of banana, gentle coconut, and some rum barrels to round it off. This is mostly banana, with the other adjuncts further back. I like banana but this is too much and not complex enough. Fun beer but it's not for me.

500 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with short tan head. Aromas of peanuts. Flavors of peanuts and red berries with a bit of sharpness that may come from rye. Interesting and fun but chaotic; initial bitter /acrid peanut overload that is only overcome at the end with a sugary fruit sweetness. Unsalted peanuts keep coming back though... Overpriced

500 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with short tan head. Aromas of green berries, a bit of jam, and slick roasted malts. Flavors of tart dark berries, syrup and oily roasted malts. Some ABV heat. Can’t really get the chocolate; maybe more in the syrupy mouthfeel. Nice enough but way over stated and way overpriced for the delivery

(500ml bottle from 4th and 7, Toronto) Pours deep brown with a small dark tan cap and a litle lace. Aroma is lots of crushed fresh peanuts dominating proceedings, some soft semi-sweet chocolate and vanilla florals, sweet caramelized sugars and a bare hint of roast. Flavour is very sweet and burnt sugar-heavy, malts are not heavily roasted and have a lot of sweet dark fruit and jam character, ample crushed peanut dusty earthiness for sure, chocolate is pretty restrained, some milky creamy vanilla vibes in the back, peanut and dark fruit malts are dominant throughout the sip though. Finish remains sweet, booze largely hidden. Light to medium-bodied, somewhat creamy. Nice peanut character but I didn't love the sweet fruity sugars; a richer, more choc-heavy malt body would have made it more peanut butter cup for me. Still a nice super-sweet pastry rendition.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Near black with dissipating off-white head. Maple syrup, molasses, slight sourness, hint of bourbon. Very average.

Dark, has some haze. It's tart, which isn't quite right. I still get maple on this, and some bourbon, but it does seem like something's gone off. I'm not sure when it was made but the tartness doesn't add value and I don't think it should be there.
