Shaker pint draft at the ChopHouse location at DIA. Listed as Witbier on tap handle, menu, etc. Served with an unsolicited orange slice. Pour is lightly hazed yellow golden with a smallish white head. Aroma is soft wheat grain, some light yeasty citrus and soft esters. Nice gentle nose. Taste is the wheat up front, nice bright citrus in the middle, and a calm smooth yeast finish. Decently put together. Palate is medium bodied, low carbonation and a very easy drinking dry finish. I agree with the alias, this is really more of a Wheat Ale, though it had nice Hefe notes.

Sample at the brewpub (as "Wild Turkey™ Barrel Conditioned Stout"). This brew pours black with a minimal beige head that is gone pretty quickly. Nil lacing as well. Whiskey aroma with notes of vanilla and malt. Medium body with a boozy character and flavors of chocolate malt, vanilla, and dark fruit. The finish is oaky bourbon with a lingering warming alcohol and malt aftertaste. Overall this one takes a minute to adjust to after several less flavorful beers, but is still a relatively straightforward beer. Decent all in all.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a dark brown color with a medium and foamy tan head that dissipates slowly. Sticky patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of earthy malt, cedar and chocolate. Medium body with a dark malty character and flavors of bittersweet chocolate and hops. The finish is toasted grains and leaves a lingering malt aftertaste. A halfway decent brew, and one of their better beers overall.

Medium body with a sweet roasted nut character and flavors of malt, caramel and somewhat astringent hops throughout. The finish is roasted malt with a lingering hops aftertaste. Average beer overall that needs to find some middle ground.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear amber color with a medium thin off-white head that burns away steadily. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Lightly hoppy aroma with malty notes. Light to medium body with a subtle hops flavor accompanied by fruity malt. The finish is short and mildly hoppy with a bit of spice on the back end. Not a great effort overall.
