12oz bottle. Unfiltered thick brown-amber body. Maybe a little thicker, heavier than a Dusseldorf Alt. Does have some mild nutty tone, so you could easily call this a nut brown as well. Lacks what I consider the hop balance of an Alt. Nitpicking aside, this is still a pretty enjoyable beer, which piques my interest in the brewery.

Very light, hints of gin cause this is gin barrel aged! How unique. Slightly tart too. Flowery notes.

Bottle. A- Papaya, mango, pineapple, juicy, citrus, melon, slightly dank. A- Pale yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Tropical citrus, pineapple, melon, mild bitterness, slightly dank, juicy. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, juicy finish. O- MetalNHophead told me this might be the best beer brewed in Nebraska when he recently had it on release day on tap at the brewery. While I had it bottled a month later, he isn't far off, and I imagine it really is better the day of release on tap. I am not an IPA fan by any means and granted this is a session, it's damn good. Very refreshing and easily sessionable. MetalNHophead offered me a few bottles and now I regret only taking one off him. Solid beer no doubt. I hope this becomes a staple on their rotation. You can't help but drink this one fast and wish you had another.

Draft. A- Booze, soapy, oak, subtle vanilla. A- Copper color, cloudy liquid, tan head. T- Boozy, oak, mild vanilla. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, boozy finish. O- Boozy and full of oak. Honestly all I get is booze and oak. Not bad and still better than the base beer but not balanced.

Draft. A- Cocoa, roasty, mild char, subtle vanilla. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, biege head. T- Cocoa, dry, roasty, mild vanilla. P- Medium body, creamy texture, flat carbonation, weak finish. O- Served on nitro and doesn’t look like a typical nitro beer. Definitely not neapolitan. Mostly toasted cocoa and some weak vanilla. No strawberry at all but decent. Kinda like melted ice cream.

Pours a hazy amber with lots of floaties from a bottle, good lacing. Nondescript fruity aroma transmogrifies into a crazy fruity shindig in the mouth. Mangoes dancing with grapefruit! Wait, starfruit showed up? Who invited him? Who cares, come on in buddy! Everybody’s acting cah-razy! I think Meyer lemon just snuck into the closet with papaya, and kiwi’s throwing up behind the ficus. This thing is getting out of hand, but lean in my friend, see where it takes you.
