Pours a near black from a bottle, a nice tan head slowly dissipating as you drink. Chocolat chaud aroma, similar flavor, nice roastiness. Smooth in the mouth. Pretty good beer.

Poured into a mug, the appearance was a semi-dark red to brown color with a two finger white foamy head. Glistened a bit and fell off at a moderate pace to leave some light messy lace.
The aroma had some pecans to almond sweet and roastiness over top of some light caramel/toffee malts. Moderate amount of espresso sweetness with just a touch of roast.
The flavor was basically the same with a nutty and caramel aftertaste. Finish was basically the same.
The feel was roughly medium in body with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation and ABV felt appropriate. Nutty smoothness along my tongue with a light grip.
Overall, pretty nice English styled brown ale worthy of having again if I could get it.

This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a burnt toasty red color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a decent pace.
The aroma had a nice blend of caramel/toffee malts to piney/resinous hops. Slight spruce-like wood with a little bit of citrusy zest then some leather and dried leaf.
The flavor rounded the previously mentioned aromas together gently, somewhat sweet with an embracing bitterness striding in. Zesty sort of popping hops to caramel malt base in the aftertaste rolling into the finish.
The feel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation and ABV felt appropriate. Bitter harshness was there but not distracting as there’s some acceptable creaminess softening along my tongue.
Overall, is this what we call a Nebraska styled IPA? I’m not sure, but this was good and I’d have again.

4 oz. sample at the brewery. Pours a hazed yellow gold with a one finger white head that hangs around a while. Light citrus and wild tropical hints on the aroma. Light pink grapefruit, citrus, weak florals on the flavor.

Not sweet, but not sharp either. Nice blance. Medium bodied and finished with a mild lingering bitterness. I see why MetalNHopHead likes this as an everyday drinker. Easy to sip in any season of the year.

Sampled at the brewery compliments of HuskerTan, thank you sir! Burnt amber color, with thin lasting head. Aroma is mild juniper, lime peel and mineral water.

The flavor shows the gin really well but pretty much hides the IPA character underneath it. The nice things about this are the effervescent mouthfeel with a light refreshing body. The alcohol is also covered nicely. Highly drinkable for me.

Draft. A- Mango, papaya, pineapple, tropical citrus. A- Orange color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Bitter, tropical citrus. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Nice beer. The aroma is certainly more tropical and fruity than the flavor but overall it’s a nice beer.
