This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was, obviously a rugged malty dark red to embittered brown color with a thick finger and a half’s worth of white foamy head that roamed around the glass. Rich semi-thick foamy lace presented itself nicely around the glass.
The aroma started with fresh bitter piney hop oils. Floral and herbal and earthy hops flow into a rugged malty arrangement. Definitely has that \"green\" hoppy bitterness about it, with leaves, somewhat dry.
The flavor dryly keeps the hops over top of the malts, full and fueling a dry malty rich aftertaste. Quick dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Good level carbonation. Fulfilling dryness hits my tongue.
Overall, pretty good amber ale with a bit more hops than expected.

A deep dark stout with a thin dark brown head. In aroma, nice bitter chocolate with coffee grind, musty character, light mineral notes, light vanilla, treacle, very nice. In mouth, a nice bitter chocolate with coffee grind, musty character, light powdery mouth feel, nice and smooth. On tap at Syracuse Winter Brewfest 2017.

Super hazy, golden coloured body that is almost 80% opaque - very nice, all with a thick, three centimetre tall off-white head that lasts for a long time - this is the way a Light IPA should look. Aroma of grass, grapefruit, oranges, light malt, flowers, a bit of pungent hops and way more grapefruit - very nice and citrusey. Light-bodied; Super assertive grassy, floral and pungent citrusey hops run through this, with not much malt, but a lot of bitterness and a pleasant light sweetness coupled with the noticeable orange and citrus flavours. Aftertaste shows a lot of citrus, some pleasant hops and bitterness, a touch of a dry malt (mellow) flavour and some hoppy finishes that are great for the style and drinkability. Overall, a very nice Light IPA with a ton of citrusey and bitter flavours that just work well and show very lightly in terms of cloying textures and pungency - very nice to sample and well worth trying to find if you like any sorts of IPAs! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 26-November-2016 for US$1,79 sampled at home in Washington on 13-January-2017.

750 ml bottle. Opened a couple days ago then re-corked. Black like ink and flat, just a bit of bubbles. Nose is wood, Chocolate, raisins. Pretty complex. flavor os wood, soy, chocolate syrup, raisins, some coffee. A bit thin, oily, rather flat but that might be the timing. Sweet but not cloying. Reasonably nice stuff, not super interesting, but pretty tasty.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a small foamy dark brown head that left decent lacing. The aroma was woody and a touch smoky with roasty malts, floral hops and coffee. The flavor was bitter, dry and roasty with smoke, coffee and floral hops. Long finish. Medium body. Meh.

Pours deep hazy Amber into a shaker. Off white head with little retention recedes to mottle surface. Sour caramel aromas. Dry with dirty, sour socks and caramel upfront turning to a medium length sour resin finish.

Bottleshare at Leighton’s Gaff. Thanks to Leighton. Light haze on this paleish gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is thin, fairly dry and has decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin dry malts. Very tangy mid, getting toward sour. Lemony fruits lead to a tart and crisp finish. Bit of edge on this one for my palate.
