Description
Master Brewer David Cosseron founded the brewery in 2014 in Breteville-sur-Ay. Guillaume De Lestrange took over the brewery in 2018. Since spring 2019, the brewery has been installed in a new production workshop in the town of Pieux, 20km from Cherbourg. A space dedicated to tasting and sale welcomes the public.

The brewery offers craft beers made locally with organic farm products. A long-standing commitment that continues by favoring Norman malts and hops. The artisanal brewery Les Travailleurs de l'Amer produces organic labeled beers using the traditional high re-fermentation method. Inspired by English “Ale”, our range reveals notes, aromatic flavors and a balanced roundness of bitterness.

An eco-responsible approach that also aims to limit the environmental impact of their production, particularly in terms of water consumption and by favoring waste recycling. The residues of malt brewing are distributed to Galloway cows raised in the open air in the moors of Vauville. The Enercoop cooperative also supplies the brewery with 100% renewable energy.

Bottle from C‘2 Normandie Dieppe. Brown colour with a tall beige head. Malty with Christmas spices, detectable but not overwhelming, really well balanced. Hints of roasted malts and chocolate are there too.

In einem Restaurant in der Normandie. Trübes Gelb, kein Schaum. Angenehmes Aroma nach Hopfen, etwas Zitrone, etwas Getreide, etwas Rohrzucker. Ähnlich im Geschmack, moderate Malzsüße, etwas fruchtig. Wenig bitter

Bottle. Color: Dark ruby, creme head. Not as black as expected from a Sout. Aroma: Dark malt, floral hints, some hop. Taste: Dark malt, roasted malt, fruity hints of dark fruit and floral hints. Moderate to over moderate sweet and hopbitter. Once again not as roasted as you would expect from a Stout. Somewhere in between Stout, Black IPA and dark Brown Ale. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Ok.
