16 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 1/8/2018. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lemon, cracker, corn, white bread dough, biscuit, and herbal/grassy earthiness. A bit fruity on aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with pale malt/corn and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, cracker, corn, white bread dough, biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, cracker, corn, white bread dough, biscuit, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is a nice pale adjunct lager style. All around nice robustness of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful and never watery for the low ABV. Clean pale malt/grains and solid earthy hop presence for the style. Not overdone on adjuncts. Exceeded my expectations. A nicely enjoyable offering, and great style example. One of the best macro AAL I've had.

Well, it pours pretty much the same in appearance except that I notice the head of foam is a good 2 finger with this one and the head retention is very good.

The nose has a similar maltiness to it but I'm also getting a decent amount of hop bitterness and that's a good thing.

Tastewise, The hops play a good role in the flavour as well as the nose. Sure, the malt is up front with some corny tones and some sweetish tones but dag nab it, then some nice hop bitterness moves in and it dominates the finish. Good aftertaste from those hops as well. A much better product than the cans that they have been putting out all these years and something that I could easily revisit. Darn drinkable and darn tasty. I like.

From old tasting notes. Bright medium gold color. Big bubbles lead to a creamy white head. Very light grainy malt nose with a hint of sour apple. Tart inoffensive malt/hop flavor. Some zest initially, but it fades quickly. Light dry finish.
