Description
The process of brewing beer hasn’t changed much since we started back in 1777. And neither has our unique approach to crafting characterful beer. But our equipment most certainly has.

Our state-of-the-art, independent, family-owned brewery now stands proudly alongside our old brewery on the banks of the River Stour in Blandford, Dorset. Using the finest ingredients and over 240 years of expertise, our brewers create beer that brims with flavour.

A light amber beer with a fine head. The aroma is flowery (elderflower?) and somewhat sweet. The elderflower is very dominant in the flavor with some sweetness, that prickles your tongue. It finishes on a dry prickling note - with the elderflower staying with You. Not really my type of beer - more interesting than good.

An amber beer with a small head. The flavor is sweet with a powerful peach note. The flavor is carbonated, peach (powerful), sweet, and slightly earthy. An OK beer though not that much of a standard interpretation of beer with the strong peach presence.

An amber beer with a fine head. The aroma is slight with notes of fruit. The flavor is flat, metallic, slightly sweet, and slightly bitter - but the main word that hits me drinking this one is WEIRD. I don't know how they do it at Badger - but the two beers I've sampled so far have been more weird than beer. I cannot recommend this beer.

Fresh hopnose, a bit sodalike. golden amber. The hop flavors do not really follow through and the body is a bit thin. Mhh I did not quite the eldeflower, my sample must have been too small, I'll try it again.

A light amber beer with a fine head. The special character of this beer reveals itself in the aroma, which is a weird spicy aroma. The flavor is sweet and weird with notes of ginger, though not pronounced. The flavor lingers on the lips.

(500 ml bottle). This is really just a decent English bitter with a bit more alcohol. Other raters claim that the bottle is more heavily hopped than the draught version - that might be true, at least the golden beer in front of me has a lovely hoppy aroma and a nice bitterness. Good head. Rather light bodied (too light?), which makes the brewery advertize it as "deceptively drinkable". Very refreshing it is, would like to sample the draught version too.

Clear orange color, hardly any foam. Hoppy aroma. Light hoppy and bitter taste. Not a drain pour, but i would not order it again.
