Bottle thanks to Blairgus. Appearance - pale yellow and fairly flat head. Nose - wood, meat and yeast notes. Canned peaches. Like a white burgundy. Taste - white pepper and wood. Peach is less obvious. Palate - light to medium bodied with a long lean tangy texture which continues through the finish. Overall - interesting beer. The nose is definitely better than the taste though.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with small off white head. The aroma is nectarine flesh and stone fruit. Medium body, juicy nectarine and peach, tart finish, very nice.

750 ml bottle. The beer is very pale. It’s a light goldish yellow color. Good bit of sediment on the bottom, so the cloudiness has picked up as I go through the bottle. Fairly large white head, a bit fizzy but pretty good retention. The aroma is fresh and bright with a good dose of funk. Fresh pale grain, some hay. Sweet lemons with light stone fruit. Light floral note. Nice fruity, dusty brett funk. Taste is rather dry. More of the dustiness comes though with a light lemon peel bitterness. Not as much fruit or grain sweetness but they’re knocking around in the background. Very light feel. Lingering lemon and earth bitterness. Nice beer.

750 ml bottle. The beer is bright gold in color. Looks to be clear but there is sediment on the bottom of the bottle. Good sized white head. Sorta fizzy but sticks around for a minute. The aroma is bright lemons, oak and light funk. Nice deep barrel-aged farmhousey sour action. Good dose of lacto. Light grain sweetness. Some nice stone fruit and light earth from the funk, I guess. Lemon, grapefruit, yogurt, peach. Taste has moderat to medium sourness. Assertive without being painful. Lemon juice, lactic acid, more of that light fruity funk. Light oaky bitterness. A bit simple but it’s nice. Light with some softness. It could use a little more sweetness and a little more softness but it’s still a rather nice beer.

On draft at Caps & Taps. It pours a clear pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma has pineapple and a little lemon. Crackery. The flavor is also pretty light and lemony. Lemon water with nice clean tartness. Hints of pepper in the finish, but really mostly clean, light and lemony. Refreshing and good.

750 ml bottle. The beer is a medium gold color. Good clarity. Small white head. Bubbles dissipate quickly. Some cider in the aroma. Sweet apricot and nectarine skin. Light caramel sweetness. Lemon juice. Mild floral note. The taste is fairly tart but the acidity doesn’t overwhelm the flavors. Good bit of fruit. Light on the palate, solid pucker. Another very good beer from GBC.

750 ml bottle. The beer is a dusky, orangey yellow color. The liquid is quite cloudy, all the way through. The head is white and only puffs up for a couple minutes before fizzling away, leaving no lacing. The aroma has a very pleasant mix of grapefruit, sour, funk and barrel flavors. Fairly strong grapefruit zest, light oak, pleasant lacto character. The taste is moderately tart. Fairly juicy. Light apricot, lemon, lime. Fairly dry. Very mild bitterness in the finish. Light-medium body. Kinda spritzy feel. Very good stuff.
