50cl bottle.Pours a light golden colour with good steady bubbles and a nice sized head. The nose is of pale malt with perhaps lemon and maybe even lemongrass. The taste is of more pale malt and a big whack of the lemon and herbs at the end. The palate is great - medium bodied, so big for a lager, nice persistent texture in the middle section and one of the most refreshing finishes you will find in any beer. The overall impression is that this is one of the best lagers out there.

Totally overrated very bitter brew the balance, harmony and flavor is missing. Typical mass beer, not light and sweet.

Grass nose. Clear golden, medium white head. Grassy hay flavor with a parsley finish. About as average as a beer can get.

Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is malty and moderate hoppy - straw. Flavor is medium sweet and rather bitter. Dry and bitter finish. Very bitter for a pilsener. 150210

Tap @ Shultheiss, Berlin. Pours a clear - almost totally transparent bright body with a big fluffy white head. Aromas are quite discreet with hints of malts. Medium carbonated and quite light-bodied. Tastes strong grains with a dusty-bitter finish. This was not that good in my book.

Bottle. Strong barley wort aroma. Clear golden yellow color with small head. Slightly sweet barley wort and moderately bitter grass/quinine flavor. Nice for a low alcohol - what I expected from Jever.

Bottle. Poured gold yellow with pillowy white head. No lacing. Fresh bread aroma. Medium body, Nice hop edge. Unfortunate metal tang in the finish and a tiny bite of greasiness in the mouthfeel.

Bottle. Strong limeade aroma with a hint of grass. Clear yellow-green color with moderate head. Sweet lime soda initially with a mild hint of the typical Jever hops in the finish. Tasty - as usual with these I wish the beer flavor came out more.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Bottle in Dusseldorf. Clear gold beer. small white head. Quite a lot of bitterish hops in this Pils. Okay.
